Name of Jesus

A few years ago while visiting my husband's grandmother in the nursing home, I experienced the power in the name of Jesus. I was on my way out when from one of the rooms,a little lady was crying out help me, help me. As I passed the room, I felt a tug in my heart to go in. I turned around and went in where she was. The lady was quite distraught( whether in pain or confusion-I don't know). Her eyes were closed when I approached her; I immediately took her hand and leaned into her ear and told her Jesus loves you and it will be okay. I repeatedly said the name of Jesus and she immediately stopped crying out. I left the room in quietness and a changed in my heart by what happened. Through this experience and other times I have learned that there is power in the name of Jesus.
There are times when all I know to do is say the name of Jesus in a situtation. This brings me peace within itself when I say His name. God sent Jesus to be our salvation, redeemer, comforter, to intercede for us and be our great High Priest. All He wants from us is to call upon Him and see what He will do!
How often do you say the name of Jesus? Be reminded today that there is power in the name of Jesus!
Claim it, say it - live it!
